Terms and Conditions for Skip Hire

TERMS OF BUSINESS

1. General

1.1 These terms of business apply to the provision of skip hire services by The Site Hub Ltd to you.

1.2 By accepting these terms, you agree to be bound by them and any other agreed terms between you and The Site Hub Ltd.

1.3 The Site Hub Ltd may amend these terms at any time. Notification of any amendments will be sent to you.

2. Services

2.1 The Site Hub Ltd provides a broker service, which means we arrange for the hire of skips on your behalf from third-party contractors and suppliers.

2.2 We will provide our services with due care and skill.

2.3 We do not guarantee the service or quality of any third-party contractor or supplier.

2.4 We will provide you with an estimated cost for the skip hire, based on your requirements.

2.5 You are responsible for ensuring that the skip is located in a safe and legal manner.

2.6 The hire period of the skip is 2 weeks subject to the third party hired, once the skip is booked we will then confirm the hire period

2.7 If access on site is not acceptable our third party may charge a wasted journey fee. This charge will be put on the customer as well as a service fee

2.8 The Site Hub Ltd do not guarantee specific times of delivery, however do aim to meet requests.

2.9 If you wish to raise a complaint we do have a 14 working day period to investigate the issue before proceeding with a resolution

3. Payment

3.1 Payment for the skip hire service will be payable in advance, unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 Payment can be made by bank transfer, pay by link or credit/debit card.

3.3 If you cancel your order, The Site Hub Ltd will refund any payment made, subject to a cancellation fee.

3.4 If you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours of the date of delivery The Site Hub Ltd hold the right to charge up to 50% of the cost of the order.

3.5 If you wish to cancel your order when the skip is on route The Site Hub Ltd hold the right to charge up to 100% of the cost of the order.

4. Liability

4.1 You will be responsible for any loss or damage caused by the skip during the hire period.

4.2 We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the skip during the hire period.

4.3 We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the performance of our services.

4.3 We are not liable for any damage caused by the supplier when placing/ removing the skip and if any date is caused should be reported to us to investigate.

4.4 The Site Hub Ltd will not accept any charges for compensation for deliveries turning up later than the customer requested.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 We will treat any information provided by you as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without your prior consent.

6. Termination

6.1 Either party may terminate this agreement by giving 7 days’ written notice.

6.2 Termination will not affect any rights or obligations accrued before termination.
